Louis Vuitton and Hermès are two luxury brands with distincts universes.
Indeed, Hermès refers to the sport universe with the symbol of the horse, but also of the poetry and nostalgia whereas Louis Vuitton refers to the travel universe.
We can observe through the communication campaign between these two luxury brands and in spite of their differences, they are also close.
Louis Vuitton, thanks to Mr. Jean Larivière, highlights in its ads, the spirit of the travel for more than 20 years, from 1978 to the end of the 1990's.
Recently Hermès emphasizes the escape of faraway lands.

With these two campaigns , these two luxury brands had re interpreted the universe of the tale with Cinderella. Louis Vuitton in 2002 and Hermès in 2010.

Vuitton claims also its excessive side with working with celebrities, whereas to Hermès wants to maintain a discreet house of luxury. However, the consumer has a high quality of life. the symbol of the horse is its one of its brand elements.
To conclude, everything seems to oppose these twos luxury brands, which have two radically differents atmospheres. Nonetheless, a flashback reminds the common points between Hermès and Louis Vuitton.
